Europeans 2020 Host Elected

The ECU General Assembly carried out an electronic vote to select the 2020 ECU Europeans host city late November.

The vote, concluded past Thursday, went in favor of Verona, bringing the ECU Europeans to Italy for the first time in ECU’s history.

“It’s exciting to see that the Europeans will be held at a yet another country,” ECU president Aljaz Britvic said on the occasion. Italy will be the tenth ECU member to host ECU Europeans.

Italy’s FICEC, the elected event host did not hide the excitement upon the news: “This event will represent another important milestone in promoting and developing of our amazing sport in Italy,” the FICEC head 
Ivo Sequani said upon receiving the news.

“We look forward to working with ECU, ICU, the city of Verona and the Veneto Region to create life long memories for all the competitors, coaches, officials and delegates. See you in Verona 2020,” he concluded.
