Inclusive Cheerleading Online Seminar – INVITATION

ECU is proud to share the news of an EU funded project coordinated by some of its member organisations. The Inclusive Cheerleading project helps coaches wishing to include people with disabilities into their teams and the project coordinators will be hosting an online seminar with various speakers on Saturday, 18th September 2021.

The project is coordinated by the Finnish Cheerleading Federation that partnered up with five other  organisations: ParaCheer International CIO (UK), Slovenian Cheerleading Association CZS (Slovenia), Funky Team (Finland), Cheer Sport Ireland (Ireland) and Golden Spirit (Finland). 

The two-year project is now coming to closure which presents a good opportunity to host a closing online seminar. The seminar is looking to gather all interested members of the European Cheer Union  community. 

The closing seminar will join all the greatest speakers from earlier seminars and summarise the findings related to barriers of participation and best practices of how to involve people with special needs into cheerleading.

This afternoon event will kick off at 1.00 PM (UK time). The participation at the event is free of charge.
